Your Perfect Safari, Seamlessly Designed.

You cannot leave Africa. It is always with you, there inside your head.

South Africa Solo Safari Holidays

Like much of Africa, the single supplement significantly increases the cost of solo travel compared to traveling as part of a pair. Still, a decent trip can be planned on a fair budget.

When booking for solo travelers in South Africa, we make sure to choose certain hotels, guesthouses, or safari lodges that charge only a minimal single supplement or none at all.

Boutique guesthouses.

South Africa has a significant edge over the rest of Africa in that it provides a level of boutique guest house lodging that is not available elsewhere on the continent. These small guest homes provide excellent value for money, as well as a personalized approach to service and hospitality. They are also frequently located in bustling, exciting areas of cities, making them ideal for single travelers.

Set departures

We also offer a variety of itineraries tailored exclusively for solitary travellers in South Africa. We have a number of scheduled departure trips that run weekly. Solo travelers can tour the major sights of the country without breaking the bank by joining a group! The majority of rooms have single supplements, however they are minimal.

There’s no single supplement

Certain properties in South Africa charge no single supplement.

Safari lodges

Our favorites have always been the &Beyond properties, particularly the Kruger properties (Kirkman’s, Ngala Safari Lodge, and Ngala Tented Camp) and the Phinda Properties. Leopard Hills and Kings Camp are also ideal for solitary travelers.

Cape Town and The Winelands

Cape Cadogan, Four Rosmead, 2 Inn 1 Kensington, The Last Word, and the Rusthof all have small or no single supplements.
